Padres De Los Angeles is a community rooted 501 (c) (3) nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting single parents, empowering at-risk youth, and uplifting families facing hardship in Pico Rivera and Montebello CA.
Founded on compassion, dignity, and the belief that every family deserves a chance to thrive, we step in where larger organizations often fall short, right here in our own backyard.
Our story
Padres De Los Angeles began with a single but powerful idea: If we take care of our families, we take care of our community.
From witnessing the struggles of parents working multiple jobs, to seeing youth fall through the cracks of overwhelmed systems, our founder saw a need for a nonprofit that focuses locally, responds quickly, and supports families personally.
What started as small acts of kindness has grown into a lifeline for hundreds of families in crisis.
Our Mission
To empower single parents, support at-risk youth, and strengthen families by providing food assistance, resources, job training, mentorship, and emergency outreach services. - One parent, one child, and one community at a time.
why we exist
Across Los Angeles County, families are facing unprecedented challenges - homelessness, food insecurity, job loss, and lack of stable support systems.
Although there are many nonprofits to choose from, most large organizations focus their efforts far beyond the communities of Pico Rivera and Montebello CA.
Padres De Los Angeles was created to fill that gap. We exist to bring hope, help and real solutions directly to the neighborhoods we live in and love.
